Child Killed in Sledding Accident

Jamestown, New York police have released the name of the 5-year old girl killed Friday night in a sledding accident. The child, Isabella Stanford, was hit by a car after her sled slid into Foote Avenue just south of the Arterial in Jamestown. It happened a few minutes before 6:00 PM on Friday.

The girl was transported to WCA Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Police say they are continuing to investigate, but they do not expect to file charges against the driver of the car.
