Early Morning Accident on Hamilton Road

A 21-year-old driver is now recovering in the hospital, after he lost control of his pickup truck in Washington Township.

It happened just after midnight on Saturday, on Hamilton Road.

The pickup truck landed on its hood, in the front yard of a home. The homeowner tells us the pickup truck struck his bobcat trailer after the driver lost control at a bend in the road.

Witnesses say the vehicle was airborne before rolling over.

Rescue crews had to free the driver from the wreckage. At this time, there is no word on the extent of his injuries.

Neighbors tell us people often travel too fast around that curve.  

State police are investigating the accident.
