Husband and wife arrested after police station scuffle

A couple are both behind bars after an alleged scuffle at the Wauseon Police Station.

Ryan Gomez and his wife Emily were booked into the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio.

According to the Fulton County Expositor, Mr. Gomez was inside of the Wauseon Police Department asking for a police report. When told that the report was not yet finished, he allegedly became belligerent, assaulted an officer and then ran away.

Police later stopped his vehicle. He's charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and escape. Mrs. Gomez is charged with obstructing justice.
