A recent article from Toronto Global online shows Acne in a new light through a comical animated video.

Miami, FL (PRWEB) February 17, 2013

Dr. Mike Evans, professor at the University of Toronto has sparked a bit of an online phenom with his animated lectures, particularly his animated lecture on Acne. His most recent YouTube video lecture, titled, What is the Best Way to Treat Acne? allows viewers to learn more about acne and its causes in a more humorous tone, rather than reviewing the clinical boring diagrams most doctors use.

Fernando Perez, a spokesman for Probiotic Action responds to the video, “It’s refreshing to see professionals exploring technology to reach the masses on how to treat acne and prevent it. The treatment options have changed drastically over the years from prescription, to more organic methods, and the patient has changed their mind on how they want to absorb information.”

The video’s content breaks down the normally tricky, dermatologist- jargon, into simple terms, coupled with an almost “cute” sketch of the Acne Vulgaris , which, as Evans explains is an older synonym for “common”. These simple terms allow viewers of all ages access to the information, while being entertained with the animation.

For the masses who are tired of the medical industry and their complicated terms, this new style of educating patients, follows the social media trend that many other industries have used to reach the public. The idea of an online lecture allows the content to be shared, as well as creating a buzz around the doctors name.

Perez adds, “Using social media could turn into the new digital waiting room, or offer a place for doctors to share interesting topic. Since most of the population with acne are teens, social media would be the best way to educate them about the best acne treatment and prevention”

Probiotic Action is an advanced acne treatment that uses a topical probiotic containing the “good bacteria” that is naturally found on healthy human skin. By using probiotics, Probiotic Action is an effective treatment that restores the normal bacteria content on skin. Probiotic Action will successfully clear skin while protecting skin against bad bacteria, free radicals, and pollutants.
