Lawrence Park Names New Fire Chief

The Lawrence Park Fire Department has a new chief.  He's Adam McCall, who was second in command. He replaces 32-year old Nick Fisher, who stepped down last week, amid accusations of sexual harassment.   Fisher is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Thursday on the charges.

Three women, all members or former members of the fire department reportedly filed charges accusing Fisher of inappropriate texting, asking for naked pictures, and groping. He is free on $10-thousand dollars bond. 

Chief McCall would not comment on the charges against the former chief.  He did acknowledge that the department has faced its share of challenges in recent years, a member killed fighting a fire, a squabble with the township over funding and now this.  McCall though said, "it's business as usual" here, with the department committed to keeping Lawrence Park safe.
