Wind Advisories in effect for much of the area

TOLEDO, Ohio -

Wind Advisories have been issued for Lucas, Wood and Hancock Counties, and all counties to the east, as well as Monroe and Lenawee Counties and others to the north.

Winds will gust to between 40 and 45 mph today, delivering much colder air from the west.

Similar to what we experienced on Monday of last week, some isolated power outages will be possible, but widespread outages are unlikely.

Scattered snow showers will return, and a dusting to a fraction of an inch is likely.

Some roads could become slick as temperatures continue to tumble.

Late tonight, temperatures will fall into the teens, and the blustery breeze will drive wind chills slightly below zero.

    Portions of Moore, Oklahoma were ravaged by a mile-wide tornado this Monday afternoon. This follows a near-record quiet start to tornado season. Strong storms may reach northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan by Tuesday.
    Recovery efforts continue in Moore, Oklahoma after a catastrophic tornado on Monday.  The tornado season that began quietly in 2013 has roared to life this week.  Severe weather is possible in Northwest Ohio on Tuesday and Wednesday.  13abc and 13abc.com will update throughout the day.
