Posted: Updated:

Two people are safe, after their car landed in a creek, after hitting a patch of ice.

It happened around 4:00 Wednesday afternoon off of Zimmerman road, near the Elm street Walmart.
Crews at the scene say that the two were traveling west, when the driver hit a patch of ice and lost control of her car.
The vehicle went over a hill, and into the creek.
Both the driver and passenger were able to free themselves, and no one was hurt.
It took crews about a half an hour to get the car out of the creek.
