It looks like the woman convicted of murdering her boyfriend, will remain behind bars for at least the next 18 years.
Judge Shad Connelly has rejected the defenses' request for a lighter sentence or a new trial, for 31 year old Rachel Kozloff.
Last month, the judge sentenced her to 18 to 40 years in jail, after a jury found her guilty of 3rd degree murder.
Kozloff shot and killed her boyfriend, Michael Henry, last April.
The judge ruled Kozloff got a fair trial, and also determined the sentence was not too harsh, and is in the standard range of sentencing guidelines.
Kozloff won't be eligible for parole until 2031, when she's 49 years old.
