Suspended PA Justice Guilty

A jury has found suspended PA Supreme court Justice Joan Orie Melvin guilty of using staff for political purposes.

Her sister, Janine Orie also found guilty.

The two were convicted on all but one charge each for using staff members for political jobs, including driving to political events and working polls.

The jury could not reach consensus on a charge of official oppression.

No word on when sentencing will take place or what penalties might be involved.
