Erie Fire Department Assists Police On Search Warrant

Erie police had to enlist the help of the fire department while serving a search warrant on Erie's west side.

Around 7:15 Thursday night, Erie police were serving a search warrant at a home in the 600 block of west 5th street, when a man ran out on to the roof.

He refused to come down, so Erie police called the fire department to help.

They eventually got the man down, no word on any charges.

The police investigation continues.
