One of the big names from NBC's Saturday Night Live is coming to Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. Weekend Update anchor Seth Meyers will headline the spring comedy show on April 19. Tickets are $25 and go on sale Monday, February 25. Tickets are already on sale for students, at a discounted rate of $15.
Meyers, 39, joined "Saturday Night Live" after working with the improv group Boom Chicago. His film credits include "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist," "Journey to the Center of the Earth" and "New Year's Eve."
According to Behrend's Public Information Coordinator, Robb Frederick, Chris Hardwick will open the show. He hosts "The Nerdest Podcast" and "Talking Dead," a talk show devoted to AMC's zombie drama "The Walking Dead."
The comedy show will begin at 7:00 PM in the Junker Center. Seating is general admission. Tickets can be purchased online at www.estore.psu.edu, by phone at 898-6171 or at the Office of Student Activities desk in the Reed Union Building.
