BGSU approves price hike for room and board

Students at Bowling Green State University will be paying a little more for room and board on campus next year.

BGSU Trustees approved a 2.37 increase in the price of student housing and meal plans.  B.G. still ranks fifth lowest among Ohio's 13 universities when it comes to these costs.

The University of Toledo approved a freeze on housing, meals and tuition late last year.

    Two Toledo firefighters suffered minor Monday morning after a fire in West Toledo. It happened in the 3600 block of Berkerly near Berdan.
    2 Toledo firefighters were treated for minor injuries following a fire in West Toledo.  It happened in the 3600 Block of Berdan on Monday.  One was treated for a minor burn and the other for heat exhaustion.  Both have now returned to duty.
