The Film Society of Northwest Pennsylvania on Sunday afternoon were finishing up getting ready for their first annual Lights, Camera, Action! Oscar party at the Erie Art Museum.
They spent the afternoon rolling out the red carpet, and making sure everything was just right for the watch party.
John C. Lyons, Executive Director of the Film Society of Northwest Pennsylvania said this year was a great one for the film industry.
"Actually, this is one of the best years on record for film," said Lyons. "I think it's the best year since 1999. Argo looks like the favorite right now, but really any of the films could win. They're all great."
Tickets are available at the door until 7:00 PM Sunday night. All the money raised is benefiting the Film Society of Northwest Pennsylvania.
