Erie, Pa - Doug Bradley, best known to horror fans for his role of Pinhead in the long running "Hellraiser" series, will be appearing as a special guest at their 2013 event this October. The news was released by Eerie Horror Film Festival.
Bradley, who has appeared in dozens of films over the past forty years including Clive Barker's cult classic "Nightbreed", has also added his voice to the popular science fiction game, "Star Wars: The Old Republic", but it's the character of Pinhead that he has made his own and easily one of the most recognizable icons in horror film history.
"I'm so happy to have Doug with us this season", said Greg Ropp, President of the Eerie Horror Film Festival, which takes place each year in he city of Erie, Pa. "He's been on our dream list of guests since our debut ten years ago".
Bradley, who will also be on hand to support a screening of the film "Scream Park", an indie feature shot in Crawford County, Pennsylvania, is very excited to be coming to Erie and taking part in the Festival's tenth anniversary show.
Attendees will be able to meet Bradley and talk with him directly about his long career in films during the annual, three day event at the historic Warner Theatre in downtown Erie.
Ropp said that the Fest will be announcing more guests in the near future and hopes that the fans will come out in full force this season to celebrate the Festival's anniversary.
The Festival takes place October 18 - 20, 2013.
