Local staff sergeant, husband killed in domestic dispute

Special agents are investigating the death of a member of the Ohio Air National Guard's 180th Fighter Wing based near Swanton and her husband.

Authorities found Staff Sergeant Krista Meeks-Jones and Army Specialist Christopher Jones dead inside their station at Fort Knox.

A spokesperson says the two died in what appears to be a domestic dispute. Both died of gunshot wounds.

Krista Meeks Jones was a 2008 graduate of Anthony Wayne High School and is survived by two young children.
