Crews from the City of Toledo and Toledo Edison are working to replace a traffic light at the Anthony Wayne Trail and Woodsdale, near the zoo.
A car crashed into the pole, knocking it into the intersection around 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
Toledo police say the driver of the car, which was headed outbound from downtown, was the only one in the vehicle. Injuries are minor.
The missing traffic light faced Woodsdale.
Toledo police are working to direct traffic through the intersection, while city crews attempt to remove the pole itself and fit a replacement into its former position.
Slow-downs in this area are possible during the next few hours.
