A major improvement project is scheduled to begin in early April on a section of Route 20 in eastern Erie County. PennDOT will spend nearly $2.9 million to improve a 5.4 mile section of the road in Harborcreek and North East townships.
The work will include resurfacing, milling, and paving shoulders. Other work will include updating drainage, curbs, sidewalks, signs and guide rails. Federal funds will used to pay for the work.
The work is expected to wrap up in early August, weather permitting. No detours will be required.
