Nearly 100 people showed up at Bob's Gun Shop on Saturday to support local pro-gun candidates, to make sure their names appear on the May ballot.
Voters concerned about maintaining their gun rights - want to support candidates who view the controversial issues as they do.
Current County Councilman Ed DiMattio was one of the candidates on hand.
Organizer Doug Boldt said signing a nominating petition is a way to let their voices be heard.
"This is how we get out candidates to represent us, to reflect our view," said Boldt. "If we come out and support pro-gun candidates like we did today, then they are able to be empowered and are able to fight for us."
