It was a masquerade ball with a mission in downtown this weekend. The 3rd annual M-S Querade ball was sponsored by the Western PA Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The Mardi Gras themed event benefits those living with M-S in and around the Erie area. It's an unpredictable disease that hampers the central nervous system.
Colleen Gross, development manager for the organization says the funds raised will help with everything from financial support to education but the overall our goal is a world free of M-S.
Organizers hoped to raise $15-thousand dollars.
