61st Annual Tartan Ball Brings Out the Plaid

Some wore plaid to the 61st annual Tartan Ball presented by the Pipes and Drums of the Erepa Grotto. Also hosting the event this year, the City of Thorold Pipe Band from Welland, Ontario Canada.

The event at Rainbow Gardens is an Erie tradition.  It's an evening of music and dance that always features a performance by the pipes and drums.

Through the years organizers have supported several local charities with the funds raised through the Tartan Ball.
