Macomb man arrested after high speed chase

A high-speed chase on I-75 ended with a Michigan man behind bars. Investigators say they tried to stop a car on southbound I-75 near Findlay for speeding Sunday afternoon, but the driver took off.

He led them to Ohio 235 and drove through Mount Cory before getting out of the car and attempting to flee on foot.

An Ohio State Highway Patrol plane spotted 29-year-old Ryan McAleer of Macomb, Michigan in a field.

McAleer was arrested and is being held at the Hancock County jail facing several charges.

Authorities aren't sure why he was running from them.
