A Millcreek mother faces a maximum sentence of 17 years in prison for the death of her 5-month old son last year.
Twenty-three year old Leslie Holmes today agreed to a plea bargain in a hearing before Judge John Trucilla.
She pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of children. In return for the plea, prosecutors withdrew 3 other charges. Prosecutors said she shook her son Jasper in a Millcreek motel room in February 2012. The child died later in a Pittsburgh hospital.
Holmes will be sentenced in April.
