Sheetz Vote Delayed Again

A vote to approve a new Sheetz store and gas station near the entrance to Presque Isle has been delayed again. Millcreek Supervisors postponed the vote today at the request of Sheetz.

The company is still waiting for a state permit. Until that permit is granted, a vote by supervisors would be moot.

 The supervisors and Sheetz currently disagree on the design of the project. The supervisors do not want the store to detract from the beauty of Presque Isle. They also have cocerns about traffic.
