It's been over one month since 17-year-old Jacob Samusenko was last seen. But his friends and family have not given up hope in finding him.
On Tuesday evening, over 100 people gathered in Bethel Baptist Church, to pray for Samusenko's safe return. Many in attendance, took a moment to reflect.
"Jacob's one of the nicest guys you could meet," said Bethel Youth Pastor Tim George. "He's really transparent. Who he is who he is....always helpful...first one to volunteer for anyone that needs help."
Samusenko was last seen Tuesday, January 29th, at his home. Since his disappearance, there have been two separate community searches for him. However, both proved to be unsuccessful. So now, his family is relying on their faith for a positive outcome.
"I thank God for lots of people, but I pray for my family for Jacob," said Jacob's mother Nadia Samusenko. "I love him very much, and I would like to see him back home."
Anyone with information on Jacob's whereabouts are asked to call Erie Police at 870-1120.
