Woman Tosses Hat In the Ring For County Council - WICU12/WSEE Erie, PA News, Sports, Weather and Events

There's a new candidate running for Ebert Beeman's old seat on Erie county council.
Trish Shoulders made the official announcement Tuesday evening.

She's a 43 year old certified public accountant.
It's her second time running, she's a Republican.
She initially put her hat in the ring when Beeman was sent to prison last year.
Council ended up choosing Edward Dimattio, to fill the job temporarily.

Now, Shoulders says she's asking the voters for their support, for a full term.
She points to her years, as an accountant.
"I've been in public accounting for the last 20 years, utilizing the skills, analyzing and compiling all the relevant information to make sound choices and decisions." Said Shoulders.
