The local man accused of killing a local fire chief in a car-crash while he was under the influence of drugs is headed to court today. He's expected to strike a plea-deal with prosecutors. The crash happened last February on Route 6N in southern Erie County's Washington Township. State Police say Joshua Nickerson, 30, was on under the influence of drugs when he drove into oncoming traffic and killed Franklin Township Fire Chief David Flint. Today, Nickerson's scheduled to enter a plea in Erie County Court. Prosecutors aren't saying at this point exactly what the terms of the plea-bargain will be.
