The American Red Cross is helping a Springfield Township family after their home caught fire Tuesday night.
Flames sparked in the chimney of a home on the 7100 block of Dorr Street. Multiple fire departments responded to the call. Lucas County sheriff's deputies say a family lived at the address, but everyone made it out safely. The American Red Cross is assisting two adults and eight children with food, clothing and comfort kits.
