Severe storm training dates set

The National Weather Service has announced eight severe storm training events will take place in the viewing area. These training seminars are free to the public and normally last about two hours.

The training seminars are great for anybody wanting to learn more about severe weather, how to report severe weather information to the National Weather Service or to just learn how to stay safe.

The dates and times for the eight events are listed below:

Defiance...Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at 6:30pm at the EMA Office

Maumee...Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 10:00am at the St Luke's Hospital

Sandusky...Monday, March 25, 2013 at Castaway Bay

Fremont...Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Job and Family Services

Findlay...Monday, April 1, 2013 at Whirlpool Corp

Wauseon...Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Fulton County Administration Building

Millbury...Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Lake High School

Dundee...Monday, April 22, 2013 at Cabela's
