Gannon Moves Forward on Huge Project

Gannon University is now one step closer to starting a huge construction project.

 As we've reported, the school plans to renovate the campus recreation center and build an indoor field house in vacant space next to the center on West 4th Street.

 Erie City Council today gave it's tamp of approve to a $22 million Higher Education Building Authority bond issue to finance the project.

 Construction is expected to start this summer.
