UPMC-Hamot Draws Big Crowd for Job Fair

A big crowd turned out today to apply for jobs at UPMC-Hamot. The hospital has immediate and future openings in departments including nutritional services, sanitation, and central processing.

 About 300 people learned more about the jobs during the afternoon job far at PA CareerLink on West 8th Street. Interest was so strong, that about 80 people were waiting for the doors to open.

 Pennsylvania CareerLink Site Coordinator Rick Cornwell said, "This tells me there is an urgency among people to really start to think about careers and to try to get a job to help their families."
