The Erie Water Authority closed the 1100 block of West 32nd Street Wednesday after a water main break sent water cascading down the street. Water crews isolated the break in a 12 inch pipe beneath the street.
The water first bubbled up along the west Erie street about 10:00 AM. Crews were preparing to making repairs by early afternoon. The work has impacted water service in that block. Crews hope to have the repair completed and service restored by early evening.
