Toledo, OH -
It seems like every time you look to the sky, clouds are stretching across the horizon. In the past 6 weeks, only 4 days were sunny, meaning at least 70 percent of the sky was cloud free. To put that in perspective, less then 1 out of every 10 days were sunny. In a normal year, we would have seen twice the amount of sunshine.
There is some good news on the horizon. March alone averages 6 sunny days. Along with seeing more hours of daylight, there are fewer clouds in late spring and summer. The amount of sunny days per month actually peaks in late summer through late October with about 8 sunny days each month. It won't be long before we trade the cold and clouds for sunshine and warmth.
