A neighbor alerted firefighters to a fire in the 1000 block of Indiana Avenue in Central Toledo on Saturday morning.
She heard fire alarms going off all night, but it was the smell of smoke that woke her on Saturday morning.
She saw flames and smoke coming from the second story of the vacant home. She called 911 and engines from four different fire stations responded to the fire.
Firefighters said by around 7:20 in the morning the fire was contained. They said the fire started on the first floor, but that they do not know the cause of the fire.
