Snowmelt plus recent rain leads to flooding on Tiffin River

STRYKER, Ohio -

A Flood Warning has been issued for the Tiffin River in Fulton, Williams and Defiance Counties.

Recent snowmelt, plus the rain from last weekend, has caused the Tiffin River to rise.

It is approaching flood stage, and minor flooding is expected during the second half of this week, in Fulton, Williams and Defiance Counties.

The Tiffin River should return back below flood stage by Saturday evening.
