DETROIT (AP) - People protesting the possible appointment of an emergency manager for Detroit have slowed traffic on an area interstate during the morning rush hour.
WWJ-AM reports three slow moving vehicles clogged traffic Thursday morning on eastbound Interstate 94.
A similar protest took place Monday on the interstate. And last week a group of vehicles caused a slowdown on southbound I-75 near I-94.
The protest came ahead of Gov. Rick Snyder's planned Thursday afternoon announcement of his final determination on a review of Detroit's finances. The move could include the appointment of an emergency manager for the city. Snyder already has declared a financial emergency in Detroit.
