Police Investigate Trio of Gunfire Reports

    Erie Police are looking for evidence after a total of three overnight reports of gunfire in the city.
The first call came in around 10pm Thursday from the area of East 13th and Ash streets. Neighbors reported hearing 12-15 shots ring out. Officers recovered at least 12 spent shell-casings at the scene. The bullets didn't hit anyone. Other overnight gunfire reports came from the area of East 5th and Pennsylvania Avenue, and East 23rd and Reed Streets.
