
A very busy morning for Erie Police, with three reports of armed-robberies. One of the hold-ups happened around 12:30am Friday at the Circle-K convenience store at East 33rd and Pine Avenue. Police say a man with a gun robbed the place. A short time later, another armed-robbery was reported at the Manus A-Plus Mini-Mart at East 12th and French streets. That happened around 1am. The third holdup happened at the Family Dollar store at 23rd and State Streets, shortly before 9pm Thursday. Police say a man walked into the store with a gun and took money from the register, as well as a customer. Police say they have a similar suspect description in all three holdups.
