Car crashes into a Point Place home

A Point Place home is in shambles after a car crashed into a corner bedroom.

It happened this morning around 2:20 at the corner of Lehman and 290th.

The woman who lives in the home says the room is a spare bedroom and that no one was inside of that room at the time.

Her son was awake playing video games in the bedroom next door when he heard the boom.

He says three people got out of the car. Two of them ran and a third sat down on the ground and was eventually taken away by ambulance.

One neighbor tells 13 ABC this intersection has seen crashes into homes in the past.

We are still waiting to hear from Toledo Police about possible charges and the condition of the driver.
