Gannon University today was spotlighting Women's History month.
The school invited many women achievers from the region for the program called, "Phenomenal Women: A Tapestry of Tenacity and Talen." The program looked at the progress women have made in many fields, and the challenges that remain.
The keynote speaker things the key challenge now is developing more women leaders.
Maria Montero, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Commission for Women said, "I mean that is how we change the world., how we make systemic change in policy and how women can really contribute to the overall culture of civility, whether it is family life, political life and business life."
The program also showed the diversity of talented women of many different cultures.
