White Lodging Begins Management Contract for the Marriott Fairfax at Fair Oaks, VA

MERRILLVILLE, Ind., March 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- White Lodging is pleased to announce it has officially taken over the management contract for the Marriott Fairfax at Fair Oaks.  This is the company's 2nd management contract in Virginia.

The hotel will be brought into the White Lodging portfolio under the leadership of its new General Manager Scott Paradine, who previously was the director of sales and marketing at the Marriott Richmond.

The hotel is also scheduled for significant upgrades and renovations within the next year.

The hotel provides a fitness center, a virtual concierge and valet dry-cleaning. Guests may dine at the Oak Grill®, enjoy evening room service or grab a beverage or packaged snack from The Market®. The hotel offers 8,918 sq. ft. of meeting space, including nine breakout meeting rooms and a ball room that can accommodate 500 people.

The Marriott Fairfax in Fair Oaks is just 19 miles from Washington, DC and is adjacent to the Fair Oaks Mall at the intersection of Rt. 50 and I-66. It is also 20 minutes from Washington Dulles International Airport and 30 minutes from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Leisure travelers will enjoy nearby Alexandria, where they may enjoy exploring the area's historic sites and museums. They will also find shopping and dining opportunities at the Pentagon City Mall or the Tyson's Corner Center.
