The Saint Patrick's Day parade didn't get quite so lucky with weather, after last year's warm temperatures.
But Erie's Irish spirit wasn't dampened.
Crowds still lined State Street to catch the sights: floats, traditional Irish dancers, and of course, candy.
The zoo also brought some four legged friends, and Erie's Jolly Jesters entertained the crowds, too.
The parade started at eleventh and state, and made its way all the way down to Saint Patrick's Church.
We spoke with some students from nearby Gannon University, who got in on the fun.
"it's just everyone's happy and everyone's having a good time," one student said. "Even though it's cold people still came out to celebrate, and it's a great time.
