MONROE, Michigan -
The weekend began with light rain on Friday night, but temperatures fell overnight, and eventually, light snow accumulated to the north of Toledo.
Monroe, Michigan reported 1.1" of snow, and there was a report of 0.3" of snow in East Toledo.
Farther north, 1.9" of snow fell in Ann Arbor.
In Jackson County (Hillsdale County's neighbor to the northwest), reports ranged from 1.6" in Tompkins to 2.3" in Brooklyn.
Areas near the Ohio Turnpike did receive a few hours of freezing drizzle and very light freezing rain, which added a very thin glaze of ice to a few surfaces.
Drier air is returning, and Saint Patrick's Day will be partly sunny and dry.
