Man Killed in One Car Accident

A one car accident in Conneautville, Boro Crawford County claimed a life. It happened about 8:00 PM Friday as the driver, 74 year old Russell Heim of Main Street Conneautville was headed east on Licking Road near Gothic Street.  State police say he drove his black Chevy Silverado off the road, hit a cement sidewalk, continued on into a tree and overturned.

Investigators say Heim was not wearing a seatbelt. Coroner Scott Schell pronounced the man dead at the accident scene.  Fellows Club Fire and Ambulance and Conneaut Lake Paramedics assisted at the accident scene.
