PA and Ohio Authorities Arrest Fleeing Suspect

Pa State Police from the Girard barracks teamed up with the Ashtabula Sheriff's Department early Saturday morning to catch a suspect who was fleeing from Ohio authorities.

They arrested 35-year old Lee Michael Braden of Conneaut, Ohio on Jerusalem Hill Road in Beaver Township about 1:40 AM.

The suspect was arraigned before District Judge Rossi on one count of felony fleeing and eluding.  He was placed in the Crawford County Jail, with bond set at $40-thousand dollars.

We checked with the Ashtabula Sheriff's Office for information on why authorities initiated the pursuit.  They have not released that information as yet.
