Old man winter sticking around into spring

A year ago record heat in March made the first day of spring feel like the first day of summer with a high of 82 degrees. A year later, temperatures will be in the 10s and 20s all day long with a high of about 27 degrees with snow flurries possible. The average high on the first day of spring is 49 degrees. March of 2012 had a daily average high of nearly 62 degrees. So far, this March has an average daily high of 40 degrees.
