TOLEDO, Ohio -
While it won't be a large storm, a light wintry mix, early on Monday morning could produce a few slick spots during the am commute.
Light snow, sleet and freezing rain will be possible from around 5 AM to 9 AM across the 13abc viewing area.
The overall amount of moisture will be slim, so here is what we expect:
- only a dusting to 1/2" of snow
- less than 0.10" of ice, primarily on elevated surfaces
- a quick changeover to light rain by mid day.
As of this Sunday evening, it appears that the local impact will be fairly insignificant, so Winter Weather Advisories are limited to eastern Ohio, closer to Akron, Canton and Youngstown.
The only official weather alerts tied to this system in our area are Small Craft Advisories for the lakeshore, due to the cold wind at 10-20 mph on Monday and Monday night.
