Investigators are looking for the identity of a body pulled from a marina in Presque Isle Bay, Monday.
The question now, could it be a teenager, missing for 2 months?
A woman called 911 around 2:30 Monday afternoon, to report a body floating in the waters of the marina, just East of Dobbins Landing.
Police and fire fighters responded to the scene right away.
The Erie fire department's dive team responded, jumping in the bitter cold waters to recover the body of what we're only being told is that of a white male.
The coroner is not releasing an approximate age or condition of the body.
An autopsy is set for Tuesday.
As part of the investigation, they'll determine if the body is that of 17 year old Jacob Samusenko.
He's been missing now for 2 months.
Samusenko disappeared from his east Erie home, back on January 29th.
According to police, there are no other open missing persons cases fitting the description of a white male.
"Upon our arrival we did determine there was actually a body in the water. We had our dive team crews come in and our divers got in the water and got the person out." Said Erie's Deputy Fire Chief Mike Fahey.
The coroner says they'll release more information on the identity of the body, after an autopsy is completed on Tuesday.
