Some local schools treated to a special performance on Wednesday by the Young People's Chorus of Erie.
The chorus stopped at five schools, including St. George's.
The choir's executive director Alyson Amendola says this is partly a recruitment opportunity, but also a way to promote the arts in the classroom.
"Today we're going to reach over 1000 students across our community, and our own choristers come from 40 different public private and parochial school districts," said Amendola. "It's really important for us to inspire other young people to love chorale music the way that we do."
Some other stops included Grandview, Wayne, and the Multicultural Resource Center.
