Police investigate fatal early morning stabbing

Toledo Police are investigating the city's latest homicide.

Just before 3:00 a.m. Thursday morning, dispatchers received a call from a woman on the 2000 block of Woodford Street reporting that a male had been stabbed. When crews arrived, they found Christopher Ogden, 40, in critical condition along with another woman, Brenda Watts, 36, suffering from a less serious wound.

Both Ogden and Watts were rushed to the hospital. Police say Ogden later died of his injuries. They say Watts is expected to recover.

No suspects are in custody at this time. Call Crime Stopper at 419-255-1111 with any information.
