Several charity events are planned to benefit the Vail Meadows Equestrian Center. A fire destroyed a barn at the riding center, killing ten therapy horses.
The first event is a spaghetti dinner on Saturday, March 30th from 5-9 p.m. It will be at the Icons Eatery and Entertainment at 3150 Navarre Avenue in Oregon. All the money raised will go directly to Vail Meadows. Icons is donating food for the event. The cost will be $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.
The second event is the Vail Meadows Benefit Golf Scramble. It's happening Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Eagle's Landing Golf Course in Oregon. It will be a 4 person scramble. It starts at 1 p.m. with dinner immediately following at Icons Eatery and Entertainment.

A group of high school students is planning a 5K fundraiser benefiting Vail Meadows. It is planned for May 25th. All the money raised will be given to the equestrian center.
